Medieval Collection: Colorways inspired by manuscript images, sketches, sculptures and more from the beginning of the 4th century to the early 16th century.
Renaissance Collection: Inspired by figures from the Early Modern period, you'll find a gorgeous selection of specialty yarn based on images from the mid 16th-century to the end of the 17th century.
1700s Collection: This collection features beautiful tonals, solids, gradients variegated and speckled yarn inspired by the garments and colors worn by Black and Brown figures from the 1700s.
Irish Collection: This collection features beautiful variegated, solids, and gradients inspired by Irish history. The inaugural collection is inspired by The Book of Kells (c. 800).
The process of hand-dying yarn is always full of surprises. These skeins are most often one-offs offered at a reduced price. They are sometimes happy accidents, but mostly experiments from the Yarnian lab. Always in perfect condition, just not making the cut for the permanent store.
Periodically, Republic of Yarnia produces limited runs of specially designed colorways.
