Golden Le More

This colorway was a request to make four skeins of merino DK combining the deep red of Christrophe Le More and the golden browns from Shimmery Caramel Brown. It was also required to be a gradient to suit the client's shawl pattern they planned to work with.

West Coast Opulence & Sea Slug Symphony

This oceanic delight was an order from a sea-lover for two complimentary colorways based on Hermissenda opalescens sea slugs. One colorway represents the orange and white sea slugs. It is mostly a burnt orange with neon along with some blue and yellow specks for added dimension. The second colorway is a beautiful teal, neon blue, pecan brown, orange and yellow colorway that reflects the sea slugs in their natural west coast habitat. It's a beautiful blend that will work up gorgeously.

Lilac Haunting

What was originally a merino/nylon medieval mishap turned into a gorgeous moody colorway with purple and blue tones overlayed on a lilac base. A customer asked for a replica order of this colorway in 100% mulberry silk which gave an ethereal glow to the yarn. It's a stunning colorway that looks hauntingly beautiful and is a sensory delight in one of the softest and most luxurious bases.

Autumn Daze

This gorgeous Autumn-themed variegated yarn was requested for a sweater project made with merino DK weight yarn. The request was based off of a special Fall picture that held warm memories for the customer. The deep greens with inflections of lighter green work beautifully with the golden yellows, bright reds and oranges. The customer also asked for some speckles for dimension so I added some deep green specks throughout the lighter areas. Now they will have a special item to wrap with love.

Doc Harrie

This is a whimsical colorway inspired by a patron's love of rainbows and beautiful colors. The yarn for this vibrant and flashy rainbow delight was Aran weight (100% merino).

Amethyst Love

I was given an image of an amethyst to help tell a memorial story. This mix of purples, lavenders and a splash of indigo to boost everything is a colorway that is a reminder of everlasting love.

Neon Sprinkle

Originally created as mini skeins for the Pride Advent packages, this special order requested a similar rainbow sprinkle look on large 100g sized skeins. I sprinkled in a rainbow pattern throughout with some pretty neon colors but also allowed some of the specks to streak for a brighter effect for the customer's specific pattern. The base was merino, and the blue sprinkled throughout glows under blacklight .

Wise King

I've had a number of special order requests for this previous monthly subscriber special called "Wise King." Orders range from fingering weight to DK yarn. It's a saturated black colorway with little rainbow flecks of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

John Blanke (English)

What started out as a commission for the John Blanket project turned into a popular addition to the shop. This commission was for a mustard yellow, grey, red, and green colorway reflecting the trumpeter John Blanke in a 16th-century manuscript image.
