SHIPPING & RETURNS
SHIPPING POLICY
Orders will be started almost immediately after placing it, but note that each order typically takes 3 to 4 days to create and process before they are shipped.

We ship to most locations. If your location does not appear as an option when placing your order, please contact us using the Contact Form, and we will see if you can resolve this for you. We cannot guarantee that orders can be shipped to all locations.
Orders are shipped as soon as possible, and estimated shipping times will depend on the shipping method chosen. Please note that Statutory and Bank holidays may slightly delay shipping. Typically, orders will be shipped on the next working day.
We offer two shipping options to our customers: Standard Shipping, which is untracked, and Tracked Shipping, which is fully tracked.
Items are shipped from Ireland using An Post, and then transferred to the postal service in the recipient country. In the event that orders are lost in transit, we can provide copies of the order shipping labels and proof of postage. ​Following An Post guidance, Republic of Yarnia considers a parcel lost if not received 45 business days after the initial date sent. Appropriate refunds for lost parcels will be issued 45 business days after initial date sent or after the conclusion of any investigation by the recipient's postal service - whichever date is later.

For Tracked Shipping (tracked) orders, if an item is confirmed shipped and has left Irish jurisdiction, and is lost in transit, Republic of Yarnia will replace your order free of charge or issue a full refund.
For Standard Shipping (untracked) orders, if an item is confirmed posted with An Post (Irish Postal Service), Republic of Yarnia will not replace the order free of charge. Customers who wish to have any items replaced must place a new order and will be charged accordingly as a new purchase, including shipping fees. Republic of Yarnia will refund customers a maximum of 20% of the value of items ordered from the lost order, excluding shipping fees. Please note, Republic of Yarnia has no ability to provide parcel status details for Standard/Untracked orders.

If any unforeseen or extraordinary circumstances result in delayed posting, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Customers are responsible for any customs or import duties, if applicable. Republic of Yarnia will make every effort to ensure correct info is provided about shipments to allow Customs processing to be as quick as possible.
Tariff Information for U.S.-based Customers
All customers MUST provide us with a valid email address at the time of your order as this is how you will be contacted by AnPost postal service in order to pay the customs and administration fee.

For orders that qualify for customs charges (over $100 USD in value) customers will be required to pay the customs and admin fee WITHIN FIVE CALENDAR DAYS of receiving their email notification from either An Post or U.S. Customs, or they will be returned to Republic of Yarnia.

IMPORTANT: If a parcel's customs charge is not paid within 5 calendar days, and the item is returned to Republic of Yarnia due to Customs fee non-payment, the shipping fee is not reimbursed by An Post. As a result, if items are returned to sender (Republic of Yarnia) for non-payment, we will contact you by email and you will have to option to either:

1 ) have us re-send the parcel to you, but you will have to re-pay the shipping charges.
2 ) cancel the order and forfeit your payment, as completed orders are non-refundable.​
Please note: Tariff amounts are completely out of the hands of Republic of Yarnia and are set by the U.S. government, and are subject to change without notice. Your order will have the current tariff amount added to it, along with a small fee collected by the Irish Postal service (AnPost) to perform the tariff collection.

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY
Each order placed with Republic of Yarnia is custom made, which means regrettably, returns, refunds, and exchanges are not offered.
In the unlikely event of an issue or defect with the material itself, please contact us.
