IRISH COLLECTION
The inspiration for this collection is historical imagery from or within Ireland. The inaugural collection is from the medieval Book of Kells. Some of our collection will include hidden figures that deserve the spotlight.
Éan na Soiscéala (pronounced AY nuh SUSH-kay-luh) or "Bird of the Gospel" is a beautiful variegated blend. It's a deep burgundy and chestnut blend, a splash of midnight black, deep marine blue, and a muted golden brown. The colorway is inspired by a Book of Kells image of the eagle representing a gospel. This variegated blend is deep, rich and works up great on its own or paired with a solid like gold or silver. Use it as inspiration for sweaters, hats, mittens, shawls, blankets and more!

Inspired by an image of a deep teal/blue colored wolf in the Book of Kells, this skein shifts between a deep teal and a navy/turquoise blend. The intense colors are rich and deep with inflections of the lighter blends that meet inbetween each color shift. For a deep oceanic-style look, this one is for you!

This colorway is a beautiful woodsy blend of forest green and teal with chestnut gold. The colors fade in and out of each other to create variation in your projects, with colors flowing like a gorgeous landscape. The teal really elevates the green creating a rich blend that will work well on its own or paired up with neutrals, warm and cool colors alike.

Seraph of Kells
Based on an angel in the Book of Kells, this deep variegated blend has short, tight shifts of color from deep burgundy and chestnut to a bronzed persimmon blend. There is also a little mauve to amplify the burgundy blend and a splash of lavender. To top it off there whisps of turquoise to lift the warm colors. It's a beautiful palette that works up fabulously as sweaters, hats, scarves, mittens or shawls, and can equally be paired with neutral solids to really show off the variegation.

The colorway is a deep marine blue with a touch of midnight black in it to deepen the color. This solid colorway has slight variations in the skein to give more dimension. A deep vibrant blue that will go with practically every color and will work well on its own, with variegated or gradient blends and especially with contrast colors for CC projects. This colorway is inspired on a bearded figure in the book of Kells.

This beautiful Autumn sunset colorway is laid out in lines that flow in and out of each other to give you a beautiful variegated look. The colors flow from light turquoise to soft persimmon orange, a green sage and lichen blend, and a soft burgundy/mauve. It's like the sky at the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall. Based on an image of 5 men in the Book of Kells.

This turquoise and teal colorway is a variegated blend that shifts from teal to a vibrant turquoise with kelly green undertones. The white space inbetween has beautiful orange specks that capture the essence of the manuscript image with a warrior in turquoise and teal with orange spots that highlight his frame. This sea-breeze colorway will add lots of brightness to your projects.

Based on the illumination in the Book of Kells, this colorway is like a palindrome where the deep mauve fades into a soft persimmon and out to a light gold. The mauve is hard to capture and turns out red on the screen but rest assured this is a more muted flame palette with Autumn colors that will work year round.

Inspired by an image of a monk in intense teal from the Book of Kells, this skein has a marine blue undertone that brings out the intense teal in a beautifully vibrant way. This rich cool tone will work well on its own and can be paired with variegated blends, neutrals and other solids for color contrast work. This will be great with purples, neutrals and Burgundy-teal.

This beautiful variegated blend takes inspiration from a peacock from the Book of Kells. A cool lavender dominates with hints of deep teal, florescent blue, a hint of rich orange, gold, and a wisp of black. This colorway will work up like you are retelling the story of this bejeweled peacock -- creating a work of art with every stitch.

This espresso and chestnut brown blend is brightened with teal and turquoise spots of color that lift the variegated brown and allow for pops of color to your work. Mimicking the dark robe of a monk from the Book of Kells and the brightness of his eyes and the beautiful stains from aged parchment that brighten his robe, this colorway is both earthy and bright at once. Perfect for sweaters, socks, hats and more.

A sectioned palette of deep navy and teal, anchored by restrained persimmon warmth. Inspired by the Book of Kells and Insular illumination, this colorway draws on the monastic use of saturated mineral pigments with inked blues, greened copper tones, and earthen hues applied with precision rather than excess. Dyed in alternating rows of three colors, creating deliberate striping and defined transitions that echo the ordered rhythm of manuscript pages, the colorway is also a reflection of our figure striking a pose.

A deep interweaving of burgundy and teal, intensifying and receding as the colors move in and out of one another. Inspired by a figure from the Book of Kells, this colorway draws from the manuscript’s layered garments and saturated pigments, wine-dark reds, greened blues, and shadowed tones worked in rhythmic exchange. The result is a palette that feels alive with motion, echoing the interlace and visual density of Insular illumination.
