This year's Nativity scene inspiration comes from the Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry painting by the Limbourg brothers (Herman, Paul, and Jean) between 1412 -16. The colorway is a variegated blend that shifts from a vibrant sapphire blue mix in Mary's robe, a deep indigo for baby Jesus and a smokey purple for Joseph's tunic. The back ground colors of soft sage/grey and golden chestnut bring some warmth to the palette. This colorway will work up especially well in sweaters and socks. Each order comes with some festive stitch markers.
Starry Night Nativity: 75% Merino, 25% Nylon
Each Skein is 400m/100g. fingering/sock/ 4-ply weight.
