This special colorway is inspired by an image of the Winter Solstice. Half the skein is a gradient grey and the other half is a gradient night sky blue. It captures the cold, almost metallic midwinter sky, while the yellow bursts are the light breaking through the darkness. Some intentional uniform white spaces break the gradients a bit not just to mimic the clouds but the little sparks of light breaking through the darkness.

This is really a colorway that says "here is the turn to winter." Each order comes with festive stitch markers. There is limited stock in this. It's a pearl high twist merino/nylon sock yarn, but if you think you'd like this in a different base, don't hesitate to ask.
