May's Colorway: Dido Elizabeth Belle

May is a time when the sun becomes more visible and Spring settles in. This colorway is based on a portrait of Dido Elizabeth Belle (c. 1761–1804) who was the mixed-race daughter of a British naval officer, Sir John Lindsay, and an enslaved African woman. Her colorway is on a merino/tencel blend with an additional tencel mini. Spinners get roving in a beautiful blend on 100% merino with a merino/silk sample.
