December's colorway: Ira's Velvet Curtain

December's colorway is inspired by the early Black Shakespearean actor Ira Aldridge. This painting depicts the acclaimed 19th-century actor shown in one of his most celebrated roles: Othello. This month's yarn is a merino/silk blend in DK that will be perfect for the festive season. The colorway shifts between a rich vermillion red with a fire red overly and a blend of forest and emerald green. Each skein has a small bit of hand-painted gold foil on it to mimic aged illuminated manuscripts. Each package comes with a small knit or crochet accessory bag filled with goodies as a gift to close out the year.
