OUR YARN BASES

Base 1
Merino Lace / 2 ply
Superwash 100% Merino. Each skein is 800m/ 100g (3.5 oz).
This yarn is a whopping 800m per skein. Being lace/fingering weight, it will make beautiful, light lace knitting/crochet projects and is great for weaving. Merino has a natural elasticity to it so if you make garments they will bounce back into shape. The lightness of this yarn makes it feel like wearing a cloud. It is light and won’t feel heavy, but is surprisingly warm (yet breathable). This will work well for any type of weather. You can machine wash this delicate yarn at 30C but it's recommended to let it dry flat, naturally. This yarn is great value for money, as many projects will only need one skein.
