December's colorway is a stunning alpaca/silk deep sapphire blue blend. It is an exclusive yarn for subscribers this month inspired by a stunning late 17th-century painting of Balthazar, the Magus. The painting is by the French master Jacques-Albert Gerin. This month's yarn is 70% alpaca/ 30% silk in DK weight yarn (225m/100g). The colorway is a rich and intense sapphire with a blend of black and silvery grey to capture the light reflecting on Balthazar's cloak.
This month's package comes with a zipper case filled with treats to pamper yourself this month. You also get the usual write-up on our figure of the month and suggested patterns for knitters and crocheters.
