October's Colorway: Steward's Solace

October's colorway is based on the Italian Painter' Marco Marziale's "The Supper at Emmaus" completed in 1506. Our inspiration is the beautiful Black figure who is one of the earliest depictions of a Black figure at the right hand of Jesus (who is seated at the table at the center of the image). The colorway is a gorgeous blend of bright red, chestnut browns, and sunny yellows on a zebra-style yarn. The yarn is 75% merino/ 25% nylon in sock weight yarn and is 366m/100g.

This month's yarn will come with a cute little travel size measuring tape along with the usual write-up on our historical figure, and pattern ideas for crocheters and knitters.
